Ard Ollamh to be presented to Séamas MacGabhann
Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2009 will honour the well known author and lecturer Séamas MacGabhann when they present him with the Ard Ollamh Award later this month.

The award will be presented to Mr. MacGabhann on Wednesday, 19th
August 2009, by the Fleadh committee and Comhaltas during the
forthcoming Ard Ollamh Celebration dinner, which will be held in the
Tullamore Court hotel, beginning at 7.30pm.
He is a well known author and lecturer and has a huge wealth of
publications to his name. He is residing in Dublin but is a native of
Nobber, County Meath.
It will be a great night’s entertainment and one not to be missed.
